Over the course of a lifetime, we encounter many people who offer us support, encouragement, and guidance. Yet only a few leave a lasting impression on who we are and who we become. When I reflect on the people who have shaped my life, Tamara is undoubtedly one of them.
“She has a natural ability to get people to step out of their comfort zone while feeling safe and supported.”
Tamara has a remarkable ability to bring out the best in people. She sees potential in others, often helping them recognize strengths they may not yet see in themselves. She leads by encouraging others to grow, empowering them to step into their own greatness, and championing them along the way. When I first met Tamara, I was apprehensive and lacked confidence in myself and my abilities. Through her loving and supportive guidance, I have deepened my passion for and understanding of Montessori philosophy. Today, I am in a leadership role at my school, which is something my younger self never would have thought possible. Tamara’s belief in me helped me believe in myself, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.
Tamara is a leader who embodies the qualities I aspire to. Her influence extends beyond what she accomplishes herself to the people she inspires, encourages, and helps become the best versions of themselves. As someone new to a leadership role, I recently joined Tamara’s Leadership Mentoring Community, and the experience has already been transformative. In just a few short weeks, I have started to expand my understanding of leadership and my role within a larger community. I am developing a deeper awareness of how I can contribute to creating a culture of belonging, connection, and community. Tamara’s guidance is helping me see leadership not simply as a role, but as an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and the culture of our school.
